We live in a globalized world in which everything it has to be from a known brand. Right now it matters more the brand that the quality. This means the big companies still growing and the small companies are dying or being absorbed by the market giants.

Right now we can see a “new tendency” lead by the word “craft”. The truth is, craft is not a trending, industrial it is. Everything in the past used to be craft until the industrial revolution arrived. The people used to make what the needed for their home or their survivor. When everything changed with the industry, the people started to buy everything from the industrials and forgot the crafters.

The real problem it is that we already forget that everyone can make the same things as the industries do. Some days ago, I made a couch by myself and that doesn’t mean I hate the industrial ones, just mean I wanted to make my own furniture. The industry is good, we can produce more things for more people, but the people who loves the specialized things, loves the crafts.

No person will now what you want or what you need better than yourself. Is great to can have a specialized beer which taste to the specific flavor that you want to taste. Say that craft beer is a new trend is as wrong as say that TV it was before theatre.
